3D PhotoArm 2000 is specifically designed for 3D product photography and ensures correct camera positioning along a perfect arch from 0 to 90 degrees. With a 61.8" vertical arm and a horizontal reach of 30.1”, the 3D PhotoArm 2000 is flexible and ideal for shooting products both large and small.

Designed to be utilized with any camera, this hand crank positioning system offers an adjustable 1.8” to 46” shooting radius.

3D PhotoArm 2000 is the perfect tool for use with an Ortery PhotoCapture 360 Series photography turntable and includes Ortery TruView 3D image composition software.

Adjustable Shooting Radius
Camera to object distance can range from 1.8” to 46”. The vertical arm features a built-in measuring stick so users can easily achieve repeatable, consistent results.

Compatibility
While the 3D PhotoArm can work with any photography turntable, but it was designed to work best with a PhotoCapture 360 Series turntable and a compatible Canon or Nikon dSLR camera.  A PhotoCapture 360 Series turntable could hold <1 o 1,000 lbs. and automatically capture between 4 to 360 images per 360 rotation.

The PhotoCapture 360 software includes a 3D Image Capture mode where users can define hemispherical or full-spherical output – for example, how many rows and pictures per row to take.  The software controls the whole capture and processing workflow. Image capture is automated at each row and the user is instructed (depending on the number of rows selected) to move the PhotoArm camera position to the next required angle. Individual images can be exported (JPG or RAW) then imported (JPG) into TruView 3D for composition into a 3D product view.

How It Works:

Use with a PhotoCapture 360 Series Turntable (recommended)
Use the 3D PhotoArm 3000 with a PhotoCapture 360M, 360L or 360XL turntable to simplify and automate image capture and processing. Turntable capacities range from <1 to 1000 lbs. and offer the following benefits:

 

Automated Image Capture and Processing
The PhotoCapture 360 computer-controlled system synchronizes* turntable movement with picture taking to automate 360, hemispherical and spherical image capture, naming, file management and animation stitching.

*Compatible Canon or Nikon dSLR camera required.

Proper Alignment: 
The PhotoCapture 360 control software contains tools to ensure proper alignment and positioning critical for creating hemispherical and full spherical animations.

Fast Results!
A hemispherical animation with 72 pictures (3 rows with 24 pictures each) takes approximately 7 minutes to create. (Actual speed depends on turntable in use)    

Precise Angular Positioning: 
For hemispherical and full spherical image capture, the PhotoCapture 360 software guides the user to select the correct camera angle. The software automatically indicates which angle is next.

Image Management: 
The PhotoCapture 360 specifically creates an output folder that can be immediately used by Ortery TruView 3D. No image resizing. No image renaming. No hassle.

Compose Pictures into 3D Animations
After image capture, use Ortery TruView 3D to turn the individual JPG images into amazing 360, hemispherical or full spherical animations in HTML5 and Flash formats.  TruView animations feature deep zoom and the ability to add image tags, audio and hyperlinks at custom angles inside the animation to clearly communicate product features.



Use with a 3D PhotoBench 260, 160 or 60
Using the 3D PhotoArm with 3D PhotoBench 260,160 or 60 provides all the benefits of using it with a PhotoCapture 360 series turntable, plus the pictures you take will have a pure white background.  Because creating hemispherical and full spherical animations require a lot of photos, being able to take pictures that have a pure white background saves a lot of time and effort.

Use as a Stand-alone Unit
The 3D PhotoArm can be used with any camera, any lights and any turntable to create professional still shots and 3D animations.
