HTML5

Animations created in HTML5 work off of a server – client structure. All of the high resolution images are copied to a folder on the server and are displayed through the browser.

PhotoCapture 360 outputs the following HTML5 styles:

-  AutoPlay with Mouse Control
-  Stationary with Mouse Control
-  Spin Once with Mouse Control
-  Standard Viewer (Features Play, Pause, Fast Forward and Rewind buttons, plus an image
slider that controls angular rotations

A Magnifier or Inertia feature can also be added to several HTML5 styles.

Inertia
Flash files with Inertia allow the viewer to ‘throw’ the object left or right via click-and-drag or a flick of the finger on a touch screen device. The harder you throw the object, the longer it will spin on its own.

Magnifier
Flash files with a Magnifier allow the viewer to select the magnifying glass then drag it over the object to see a close up view of any area.  By scrolling the mouse wheel the size of the magnifying glass can be made smaller or larger.

Advantages:
- Offers click-and-drag mouse control
- Offers rotation speed control
- Small file size (fast download times)
- Great image quality
- HTML5 animations can be delivered and viewed on all computers and mobile devices, including Apple products such as the iPhone or iPad

Disadvantages:

- For offline viewing, HTML5 animations, all supporting images and the codes must be kept and launched from the same folder.

- Requires the local viewing device to have JavaScript turned On or Enabled. However, most devices have JavaScript turned On by default.
