A Fully Integrated System
Software controls every aspect of Photosimile 5000 from proper lighting, picture taking, camera movement, camera settings, turntable movement and image processing. Everything works in unison controlled from one program that automates and simplifies all of the workflows involved in generating professional photography results.
Camera Positioning and Automatic Tilt via Software
The built-in camera positioning system moves the camera along a rail from the horizon to 90 degrees above the product inside the studio with a click of the button. Camera positioning is fully controlled through the software and requires no hands on manipulation.
In addition to moving the camera, the positioning system and control software also feature the ability to tilt the camera. Tilt adjustments can be made one at a time for fine adjustments or in an automated manner to keep the camera pointed at a specific spot on the object as the camera travels from position to position along the rail.
Integrated Turntable with Rollers
The turntable built into the floor of Photosimile 5000 can hold up to 25 lbs. It leapfrogs the competition by using gears, a belt and rollers rather than a simple motor / stem combination welded to a platform, completely ensuring the user:
1. Objects placed on the turntable will never wobble around the Y-axis (left to right or front to back) as they spin.
2. A smooth and precise ride cushioned by the rollers.

Although 360-degree and spherical product animations seem more complicated, Photosimile 5000 fully automates image capture and processing to generate industry standard Flash files viewers can interact with to see products from multiple angles.

Our patented light boxes offer symmetrical, daylight balanced (6500K) uniform lighting that consistently produces professional photography results over time. Use Photosimile 5000 to obtain shadow-free and color accurate top and side shots at will.
Complete Camera Control via Software
Photosimile 5000 comes with a high-end compatible digital camera that can be fully controlled via software commands. The camera is connected to the PC via USB and commands such as zoom in, zoom out, travel between the PC and the camera. Users can see a real-time preview on their monitor screen before taking a picture, pre-crop the image and adjust all advanced camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed, camera mode, white balance, flash control and more using the software.
Most pictures are taken in ‘Normal’ mode where the software optimizes the camera settings to the lighting inside light box. No experience is necessary. Anyone can do it. Just point the camera in the right direction and use the computer mouse to compose, take and automatically download the image to your PC screen.
