More and more companies are offering simulated 360-degree product views on their websites. Animated pictures provide more information and attract more attention. PhotoCapture 360 makes taking these pictures simple and fast.

Computer Controlled: PhotoCapture 360 consists of a turntable and control software that work in unison with a compatible digital camera. The control software synchronizes picture taking and turntable movement to automate picture taking as an object rotates 360 degrees. PhotoCapture 360 can take up to 72 pictures. It can take 20 pictures in approximately 2 minutes.

Real-time Preview: See it all before you take the first picture! Having a real-time preview means you can view the object as it spins and make position, zoom, and crop adjustments on your monitor screen before you take the first picture.

Auto Image Capture: After selecting the number of pictures per revolution, image size, resolution and spinning direction, the PhotoCapture 360 software will take control of the camera and turntable to automatically capture the images. While most image capture is automatic, time-lapse and manual capture options are also available.

Annotation and Editing Tools: Use the Image Creation Softawre to draw or write text on images to increase their communication value or replace the background with pure white to prepare the images for use on a website.

Several Output Options: The resulting pictures can be stitched together to create animated Flash (SWF) and animated GIF files. The individual JPG images can be exported for editing in programs such as Photoshop(R) then re-imported into the PhotoCapture 360 program for stitching. The individual JPG files can also be exported to Flash(R) or QuickTime(R) VR for final processing.

In addition to taking 3D pictures, PhotoCapture 360 is a business photography tool designed to save companies time, money and effort by allowing them to take pictures and control the settings of a compatible digital camera with their computer to simplify and automate the photography workflow.

Create Animated GIF files:
Annotate, Edit, Watermark and Remove Backgrounds before creating animated flash & GIF files. Use different backgrounds and Time-Lapse feature to create other special effects.




Export the Captured images as JPG files: (2 common workflows)

  • Export the images for stitching in Flash, QuickTimeVR or another animation program.
  • Export the images to a photo-editing program for editing (background removal, annotation, etc.) then into Flash, QuickTime or back into PhotoCapture 360 to create an animation file.

The Right Accessory for the Right Light
PhotoCapture 360 is compatible (plug and play) with Ortery's Photosimile 200, Photosimile 100, Photosimile 50 and the Ortery Light Box. Symmetrical daylight-balanced lighting produces even lighting and consistent results. For convenience, power and USB ports for the turntable are available inside the Photosimile 200 and Photosimile 50 and the Ortery Light Box.
